A Little Quilt

For years I have been collecting French and English vintage print cottons, with the slightly faded charm only age can give, in beautiful colours. I have designed this piece to showcase some of my favourites and made them into a 'patchwork quilt' adding a tiny heart applique in the centre.

I have also incorporated some of my own hand-dyed plain cottons here and there, as well as three vintage mother-of-pearl buttons with a double depth mount to accommodate them. The work is signed on the mount and is entitled 'A Little Quilt'.

Mounted in a lightly distressed whitened wood frame, measuring 7" (18.5cm) square, it will arrive corded, with glass in place, professionally framed, all ready to hang with my studio stamp on the back.
