Blackbirds

These tiny applique blackbirds (male and female) on a piece of my own hand-dyed recycled cotton, hold a tiny heart in their beaks. I have incorporated a polka dot fabric and Liberty Tana Lawn into the design, hand-stitching everything into place with care. I have left the tread ends loose to give a homespu/home made feel to the miniature textile.
 
The card comes with recycled paper envelope in a protective compostable cornstarch sleeve - no plastic! The card is signed on the front and my studio stamp is on the back. Cards are made from stout 100% recycled card - blank inside.
