Doves of Peace

This embroidery is a variation on my colourful  'Happy Little Birds' design, but is made with recycled white cotton for the doves, each stitched into place with tiny stitches and the addition of embroidered details;  one of the doves has a tiny heart in her beak. Entitled 'Doves of Peace' this would make a lovely new baby or Christening gift. A unique and lasting gift for a loved one of any age, from baby to grandparent! The doves are worked on a piece of my own hand-dyed blue cotton fabric.
 
The embroidery is presented in a lightly distressed whitened wood frame measuring 7" (18.5cm) square. The work will arrive with glass in place, corded ready to hang, with my studio stamp on the back.
The mount carries the title 'Doves of Peace' and is signed. 

Although I do repeat my designs from time to time no two works are ever the same as the hand-dyed threads and fabrics and design details vary making every one of my works unique.
