Heart of Flowers

I love to work freely letting the needle take me where it will, choosing colours as I go, building up a design much as a painter would use a paintbox. I stitched the heart shape and then filled it with flowers in deep bright colours so that the design has impact from a distance, despite being a small piece of work. I have entitled it 'Heart of Flowers' and have made some greeting cards in a similar way which you can also find here available to buy.
 
This colourful little heart would make a great gift for an anniversary, engagement, new baby or birthday, or any time when you want to give a little love in a lasting and unique way.
