Little Blue Hearts

For this piece I have chosen twenty different cotton prints and plains from which I have hand cut miniature hearts, stitching each one into place with fine stitches. The fabrics are vintage, some dating from 1920s with a few plains cut from my own hand-dyed fabrics. The different blues work well together and would make a lovely gift for a baby boy, or to hang in a room with blue and white china on display perhaps? I have also made a Little Pink Hearts, Little Red Hearts and one with a variety of colourful vintage prints called 'Lots of Love. All are currently for sale here.

The frame is lightly distressed whitened wood, measuring 7" (18cm) square and will arrive with glass in place, corded, all ready to hang, with my studio stamp on the back.
The mount carries the title 'Little Blue Hearts' and is signed.
