Little Daisy Sampler

This embroidery is based on elements found in the traditional sampler and is worked in carefully chosen threads and fabrics giving it a vintage feel. A hand-embroidered alphabet is stitched above and a row of numbers  below; a miniature applique cottage in the centre, which is flanked by two little white doves. There are embroidered details, a heart motif on the roof, and a row of daises in the foreground.

The work is in a lightly distressed whited wood frame measuring 7" (18cm) square and comes with glass in place, corded, all ready to hang. The mount carries the title 'Little Daisy Sampler' and is signed. My studio stamp is on the back.
