Little Goose Sampler

For this piece I have combined vintage Broderie anglaise trimming with deep red satin ribbon threaded through, and my own hand-dyed recycled cotton, onto which I have worked the miniature applique geese and a heart.   The entirely hand-stitched textile is presented in a double-depth mount to accommodate the buttons.

The frame is a lightly distressed whitened wood, measuring 8" (21cm) square and will arrive with glass in place, corded ready to hang, with my studio stamp on the back. The mount carries the title 'Little Goose Sampler' and is signed.
