Love in the Wintertime

This little snowman is worked as an applique with embroidered details; hat and scarf cut from my own hand-dyed recycled fabrics. The central panel is stitched to the backbround with intricately worked blanket stitches, and there is a holly sprig embroidered on his/her hat. There is also a tiny heart dangling from a twiggy hand - the title of the embroidery is 'Love in the Wintertime'  I have embroidered lots of tiny snowflakes falling all around the little snowman, in a very fine white silk thread.
 
Please be aware that this hand-stitched textile is not framed, but comes mounted, ready to frame should you wish to do so. The mount measures 6" square (15cm) and carries the title 'Love in the Wintertime' and is signed. It will arrive in clear protective sleeve with my studio label on the back.
