Mille Fleurs

I have stitched a shower of pretty flowers in a variety of stitches, closely worked to make a rich, precious-looking patch of shining embroidery with an applique heart motif in the centre. Made entirely free-style with no chart or drawing to follow, the work has an informal 'country' feel. The pretty colours work well together and would make a lovely gift when you want to celebrate a special time, or add a heartwarming touch to a corner of a room in your own home.

The frame is a lightly distressed whitened wood, measuring 6.5" x 8"" (16 x 20cm) and will arrive with glass in place, corded, ready to hang, with my studio stamp on the back. The mount carries the title 'Mille Fleurs' and is signed.
 
The actual embroidery measures just 2.5" (6.5cm) square and there is room to add a personal inscription on the mount if you so wish - just let me know what you would like me to write. A very detailed and intricately worked piece of hand-stitched embroidery.
