Naive-art inspired tree

This hand-stitched textile miniature mounted onto a greeting card is a  gift in itself, a card to keep, to keep as well as a card in which to write your message. This design is inspired by naive paintings found inside a tiny seventeenth century church at Flam in Norway. A friend sent me photos of the many tree paintings and stick figures, which I have worked in stitch. 
 
All my cards come with recycled paper envelopes in clear compostable cornstarch sleeves - no plastic! Each card is signed on the front and my studio stamp is on the back. Cards are made from stout 100% recycled card - blank inside.
