For this card I have embroidered the words 'Silver Wedding' adding pretty fabrics and a tiny applique heart cut from my own handmade paper which has a silver finish; everything stitched into place by hand. I have left the raw edges and thread ends showing to give the miniature textile a 'homespun/homemade' feel.
My cards measure 12 x 9 cm (3.5” x 5”) and come with recycled paper envelopes in a clear compostable cornstarch sleeve - no plastic! Each card is signed on the front and my studio stamp is on the back. Cards are made from stout 100% recycled card - blank inside.
