The Singing Tree

The Singing Tree is made up of tiny individually embroidered leaves and flowers between which nestle an array of colourful birds cut with miniature scissors from my own hand-dyed fabrics stitched into place with tiny stitches with embroidered beaks and eyes.

The frame (8"/20cm square) is a lightly distressed whitened wood. The mount has my signature and the title The Singing Tree. The work is glazed, corded, all ready to hang on your wall and has my studio stamp on the back.
 
A cheerful original to add to your collection, or the perfect gift from birth to retirement, a unique hand embroidered textile to last a lifetime. Although I do repeat my designs from time to time, every work is unique as my hand-dyed threads and fabrics, and design details vary, so no two works are ever the same.
